The air shook, a humming in the distance. A slow vision appeared over the hills. A red object. A red bird? No. It was too big. Too large to be fowl. The entity landed on the ancient, the earth trembling under the sudden shift of weight. The beast smiled as her claws dug down into the crust. A shriek screamed through the timbers, rattling the world's ears.
Wings folded neatly over the crest of her spine, nape rising to the heavens to look over the horizon. Crimson flecked globes looked over the lands like eagle eys, scoping for one like herself.
She was no ordinary dragon. She was dark...beyond that even. She felt the thirst for blood, constantly, never ceasing. Her tongue writhed at the thought of the mettallic liquid once again meeting the buds. Her stomach growled at just the mere sight of animal, the knowledge that the carcass was a tank full of meat, full of liquid.
She screamed again. A horrifying screach. Surely, a brute would here the fatale. Come to take her to his nightmare...take her home...

The Angel looked around the Grotto, she had heard the call of a dragon. In the ancient tounge of Dragons she called to it, hoping it would come to her. Dragon, I hear your call. Come to me! Clove had not understood the screech. She just knew it was a Dragon. What it wanted was a mystery.

The vixen spun around on her spot, picking up upon the speach. Not what she wanted...but it intrigued her at some level. Her beams lead her through the ice, over the frozen lands. Not her element. Her joy was found with the fire. She loved the burning sensation it gave her, the heat swelling over her scales, leaven black blotches all over her trove. Her dial shook away the thoughts, as her orbs met up with a girl.
She stopped in her tracks, a bit taken by the sight. Was it she who called to her? Was it she who spoke dragon tongue. She smiled a wicked smirk, fangs flashing a greeting to the fea. Her dial lowered a bit, getting a better perspective of her. She took in every contour, every edge of the vix. She was a cross. she couldn't really tell What exactly, but she knew she was no purebred. Lips curled back wider, forked tongue slipping out, catching the taste of the air like a snake. She pulled it back in, cherry flecked orbs flashing with interest. Her claws digging deep within the ancient, tail whipping from side to side. She looked a giant cat, a feline in a pouncing position. Her lyrics sickened the clear abyss, snaking over to the spink.
Greetings.
Her tunes were whispy, sounding like a strung out hiss than words. Nares flared at her air around her. She smiled, then continued...not nearly close to being done with her.
Be it you who has called me?
A low hiss slipped slow and smooth down the drums of the vix. She pulled her dial closer, a few yards from the mink before her. Attantion and interest pulling her closer and closer.

Clove gasped when she saw the Dragon, never before had she seen of that size or colour. This Dragon was amazing, and beautiful. And more than likely ready to kill anyone, or anything. Yes. Clove half whispered, Yes, it was I. The girl shrunk back as the Dragon looked her over, hoping it wasn't going to attack. Cloven had studied dragons for many a year, but she had always kept her distance. Never going closer than she needed to.

The beastess' dial tilted as she watched the shrew shrink in her shadow. A smile crossed her jaws. She was smart...not one that challenged her like most others. They thought themselves greater than her. She lowered her bodice to the earth and crossed her front beams. Her tail curled around her greatness, nape bent to ly her dil on her palms.
So...
She hissed the words like venom. Her orbs wide with amusment. Her scales glowing with interest as the light of the abyss dimmed to near nothing. Forked tongue writhed in her mouth, wording out a whispy song.
You know my tongue. Tell me why you have called, gypsy.
A criminal smirk lay like plaster 'cross her wide lips. Fangs gleaming like needles, pink slaivation dripping to the earth.
ooc-sorry it isn't that good.

(( bad? that's better than all of mine! i bet this post is bad! ))
Clove stood, staring at the majestic beast before her. For a while she said nothing, then she spoke: Your an outcast like me, are you not? The girl stopped, knowing she was going to get herself trapped. By the way the Dragon acted Clove could tell that it was Dark. Like her.

She raised an brow, interest just seething out of her. Her scales fulffed out, like a bird, but set themselves back down upon her thick hide.
Yes...? And you plan to stick together, don't you, vixa?
She side smile, closing her orbs as a sigh escaped her large chambers. She reached over to the side of her, pricking a tree trunk from the ground like a twig. Her enamels lifted it to her lips, a puff of flame lit the log up like wild. She set it to the side, putting littler branches and logs over top. Her dial went back to the girl, the cold of the surrounding become near unbearable.
The cold just isn't my element.
A small laugh pondered around behind her words. The clearing warmed quickly, setting a more forgiving of a temperature.
ooc-lol, thankies!

Cloven gave a slight nod of her head, If you want to. The girl looked at the huge creature infront of her. Watching as the Dragon lit the branch, she stepped closer to the bonfire. She flapped her wings once, making sure they hadn't frozen. I'm Cloven Valhalla. The vix offered to the Dragon.

Her orbs went from the dancing flames to the still girl. A light smile slid over her ivories, just a small glint of her fangs shined.
And I am Asha.
She saw a set of eyes glowing with fear in the bush to her side. Her claws came down, stabbing it quick and clean. She lifted the animal up. A well fed wild hog. She smiled...it had been awhile since she had eaten hog.
The lizard picked a thin stick up, chew the tip into a sharp spear, and struck it up into the animal. She held on to one end of the spear, moving the hog over the fire. Her other hand went under jaw.
Now tell me why this partnership would be good.
Globes went back from the girl to the hog, watching it sizzle over the flames.
ooc-lol, they aren't crap! I have seen it where every post a member makes is " She smiled", or "Ok' She said" or this one is the best *rolls eyes* "She looked back at him."

(( Awwww! Thanks! Your so nice! *huggles* ))
Cloven relaxed a bit, now knowing that Asha wasn't going to attack her. I have heard of a war. A war between the Lights and the Darks of our world. Cloven didn't answer directly, she didn't know what to say. For a moment she sat silient, thinking. Where do you reside, Asha? Just saying the beast's name made her feel safe somehow. As if the Dragon couldn't hurt her.
(( you know what's funny? ABB Air. Already Been Breathed, hahahahahahahah! I'm so sad.... ;D ))

She listened intently as her eyes were glazed over, watching the hog bubble, slowly crisping. The beast didn't look over to her, she just spoke.
I see...
Her large arm brought the pig to the centre of them, setting it down on a pile of leaves. Large claws pluckd a leg off, throwing it itno the great mouth of her's. Orbics glanced up.
Help yourself.
She shifted her weight to her other side of her bodice, pausing as she thought the question over.
I suppose it be nowhere...though I cannot say that is true. I reside here...in these many lands, visiting those who reside here as well.
She smiled, at her. Visiting wasn't the word...more like intruding.
ooc-*hugs back* Sorry, no muse tonight.

(( things hard...nothing....thinks harder....nothing.....crap......think.....nothing....d.a.m.n.i.t. ))
Cloven walked closer to the Dragon and the roasted carcass of wild boar. No thanks. The girl shook her head, she wasn't hungry and she wasn't trying to be polite either. Most people, human or otherwise, would have said no thanks even if they were starving.
With a nod Cloven acknowledged the beast's answer. Residing no where usually had its advantages.
(( ABB Air...lol))

ooc-lol, ABB.
Her shoulders shrugged, as her fangs tore at the crisp skin.
Now where do you reside, Cloven?
She swallowed the last bit of hog, and threw the broanch aside, as she crossed her fore arms. Her orbs dancind in the firelight as, once again, all attention was on the girl.

A twig snapped in the darkness, and Asha snorted. Now wasn't the time. A deep emerald gleamed in the small dapples of fire-light. Glowing lime eyes peered through the leaves, as, now he realized, he had been discovered.
Asha raised her arm, her pointer finger churling then opening, a gesture for him to come over to her.
Come out.
A sigh was heard, then, very slowly, as if death itself awaited him, he stepped from the shadows. A small babe. His long neck curled back, large eyes watching the girl as he stepped over to Asha. He stepped slow, but trotted quick past the dancing flames to his mother's chest. Though he was almost half her size, he was quite large, larger than Cloven. His head coc.ked to the side, taking in the shrew.
This is Croal. My son.
She placed her wide palms on-top his dial. She paused a second.
He does not discourage you, does he?
She wondered if the girl would still wish to partner with her...now that a young one was part of the package. She knew the girl would make a mistake if she did not accept the partnership...for she sensed Croal's power...he reeked of it. Though he had not yet learned stealth and silence, sneaking and hunting skills, she knew that it would not be long until he did.
The fire died a little, glowing emeralds casting a orange light over the three of them. Her previouse question, she supposed, would wait.

I Cry....Cloven watched quietly as Croal came out, slowly she approched him. It seemed he was not use to humans, but he wasn't afraid either. Carefully the girl placed her hand on his hide, she could feel his power pulsing through his veins. Cloven guessed that he didn't know much about his power yet, but it wouldn't be long before he did. She stepped back, removing her hand from Croal's hide. He's.. beautiful. He carries alot of power. Now, Cloven wasn't afraid of either Dragon. They were her friends. Allies. ....When Angels Deserve To Die
