Náessë flew into the grotto and landed gently on the lush, green grass. She'd had a long flight here and was very much exausted from the winds and rains she had battled. Her white, silky hair that hung down below her waist was drenched and her wings had long ago lost the power to stand up tall, so they were drooping to the ground. Náessë thought a nap would help so she curled up in a ball and laid down under a great redwood tree.Haunting nightmares that had been present each time she slept were now, curiously, out of her head. Instead she drempt of a far away place that was her home. She was with her Mother and Father and little sister, A'gina in their home made if lush leaves, grass, alahya, and nut shells. It was normal for faeries to live in a medium-size hut like that and Náessë like it. She liked the earthy smell that it gave off and she was perfectly content just standing there,in her home, beside her thrabas. But all of a sudden, the pleasent dream turned horrific! A gumia ingulfed the house and it burst up in flames! The gumia was burning her skin and hair, maing hr eys cloudy and dark and right before it felt imbearable, Náessë awoke, cold and sweating. Well so much for no nightmare tonight! he tought angrily. She rose and went t a small mountain stream to bathe. The cool water felt good against her skin, washing the sweat and fear out of he body, hair, and life. But of course, Náessë knew it could never be washed out of her life. Her gown, already soaked, now had a thick stench of fer on it, so she made herself a temporary outfit out of leaves and branches while she washed her clothing in the stream.
